Positions are available within the Victorian Organic Solar Cell Consortium (VICOSC 2) to carry out research under a AUD $10m Victorian Science Agenda – Strategic Project Fund supported project to deliver printed organic and dye sensitised solar cell as a pre-commercial product. The VICOSC consortium consists of the University of Melbourne, Monash University, CSIRO Future Manufacturing Flagship, BlueScope Steel, Securency International, Innovia Films Limited and Robert Bosch SEA Pte Ltd.

 

Nine Postdoctoral positions are available in the areas of a) scale-up and synthesis, b) barriers and encapsulation, c) printing, d) prototype device design and e) performance and durability.

 

Four PhD studentships are available at Monash University in the areas of a) novel device architectures for dye-sensitized solar cells, b) Liquid electrolytes based on non-iodide/redox couples, c) ionic-liquid/quasi solid electrolytes based on non-iodide redox couples and d) stability of plastic dye sensitised solar cells (applicants must have Australian permanent residence).
